Kasandy Consulting is a purpose-driven consultancy that helps organizations, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs build resilient systems, win procurement opportunities, and scale sustainably. We combine hands-on entrepreneurial experience (Kasandy Inc.) with deep expertise in procurement, leadership development, governance, and circular-economy solutions.
We’re based in Vancouver, BC (Kasandy Inc. has a retail presence on Granville Island) and we deliver services across Canada and internationally. We run virtual engagements and in-person workshops worldwide (including custom programs in Kenya and other partner locations).
Core services include:
Both.
We run single-day workshops and multi-month cohorts (60-day, 90-day, and 6-month programs) depending on client needs and outcomes desired.
Yes. We prepare suppliers to meet buyer requirements, support certification readiness, refine proposals and bids, and train teams on procurement processes so clients are competitive in both corporate and government procurement streams.
Fractional leadership is a part-time, high-impact arrangement where a seasoned executive (or team) provides strategic leadership, systems implementation, and operational oversight—without the cost of a full-time hire. Typical engagements run 3–12 months and include deliverables and measurable KPIs.
Strategy execution, team structuring, operational process design, vendor management, budgeting, key stakeholder liaison, and capacity building. We tailor the role to your organization’s priorities.
Key modules include: procurement landscape overview, capability statements, tips and tricks of discovering available contracts and bids, certification requirements, RFP/RFQ response crafting, proposal writing, financial readiness, buyer engagement strategy, compliance/documentation, and post-award performance.
Yes. We tailor content, case studies and exercises to the specific sector and market (including cross-border requirements for markets such as Canada).
We track participation, completion/certification rates, client readiness scores, bids submitted, contracts won, revenue/contract value secured, participant feedback, and long-term business impact metrics. We provide regular reports and a final impact brief.
From our procurement cohorts and programs, dozens of participating businesses have reported successful procurement outcomes—17–21 businesses moved into procurement pipelines (including some multi-million-dollar deals). We track outcomes and will include case studies with client permission.
Yes. We design and deliver programs with public, private and philanthropic partners. We welcome partnerships that align with our mission to drive inclusion, sustainability and supplier diversity.
We co-create programs guided by cultural responsiveness and decolonized practice. That means prioritizing traditional governance approaches, oral knowledge sharing, co-design with community leaders, and trauma-informed training design. We adapt delivery methods to community needs and respect sovereignty and self-determination.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards (secure portals, access controls, encryption where appropriate). We comply with applicable privacy laws and best practices and include breach-response protocols in our agreements.
Data ownership is contract specific. For program partnerships, we typically agree on shared ownership and access arrangements in writing—allowing both parties to use program data for reporting and evaluation while protecting participant privacy. For bespoke consulting projects, data ownership and usage are defined in the engagement agreement.
Typical steps:
Fees vary by scope—workshops, multi-month programs, and fractional executive roles are priced differently. We provide transparent, itemized proposals and flexible billing (milestone, monthly retainer, or per-project invoices).
We accept bank transfers, e-transfers, and for specific regional events we can accept local payment options (e.g., M-Pesa). Invoices include payment instructions and tax details.
We consider strategic, mission-aligned pro-bono and subsidized engagements on a case-by-case basis—particularly for nonprofit community partners and capacity-building initiatives.
A brief description of your organization, top 3 priorities, current challenges, recent financials (if relevant), and any procurement or growth goals. That helps us have a productive 10–15 minute audit.
